Future Energy Skills (FES) is leading a project to build better pathways for women in Electrotechnology and Clean Energy.
To meet the forecast demand for qualified electricians The Powering Women into Clean Energy Apprenticeships project is tackling skill shortages by encouraging more women into electrotechnology apprenticeships through creating the flexible and responsive workplace environments needed to increase women’s participation and retention.
What you will get
- Your employer will have up to 2 years of free, tailored workforce support for the development and integration of best practice resources and policies to support a safe and inclusive workplace
- Your employer will have access to a workplace consultant to develop your individualised career development plan which will support you to advance your career within the sector
- Regular check-ins to help you progress and feel supported throughout your apprenticeship
- Opportunities to join a movement making electrical apprenticeships more inclusive for women
