Rescheduling or cancelling a booking

Special consideration

As an Energy Safe Victoria (Energy Safe) approved Licensed Electrician’s Assessment Centre, FES administers and delivers a range of electrician training and assessments.

FES also provides training services to anyone looking to refresh their knowledge prior to undertaking their assessments. Our relaxed and inclusive environment is designed to help set individuals up for success at their assessments.

We are proud to offer training and assessments at our brand new, purpose built Industry Centre based in Clayton (south east Melbourne), as well as delivering assessments at our regional centre in Maryborough.

Candidates can make a booking with FES, via FES Connect, phone or email.

Please note that candidates booking for the first time with FES must create an account on FES Connect and upload or email a copy of their eligibility documentation.

Make a Booking

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to accommodate rescheduling requests where possible. To ensure fairness and efficiency, the following guidelines apply when rescheduling or cancelling a booking:

Notice of 7+ Working Days: Rescheduling/Cancellation requests with at least 7 working days' notice are free of charge.
Notice of Less Than 7 Days: A rescheduling/cancelling fee applies for requests made with less than 7 working days' notice.
Medical Exceptions: No rescheduling fee will be charged if a valid medical certificate is provided within 48 hours of the original booking.
Notice of Less Than 48 Hours: All reschedules/cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee, regardless of the reason.

Requests for special consideration must be made directly to Energy Safe .

A candidate may apply for special consideration under these 3 categories:

Extenuating circumstances
English as an additional language (EAL)
Medical or disability (includes physical or mental health and/or learning difficulties)

Possible adjustments may include additional time and solo examination conditions as required.

Applications may also be made to Energy Safe for specialist services including scribes or Auslan interpreters. The applicant will be required to make all the arrangements and to meet the costs.
