What a month it has been! The FES PMO has been continuing to work on developing resources for the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Licensed Electrical Inspectors (LEI) Projects.
The pilot programs for both of these projects will be undertaken early 2022 with EOI’s for participation opening in November.
We have completed the final phase of our project in collaboration with Tasmania TAFE to undertake an audit of the Renewable Energy Training in Tasmania, with a particular focus on domestic Solar PV and battery training. The overall project aim is to allow Tasmania to plan for responsive and relevant renewable energy training program development, and to identify the source of trainers to deliver the training.
We would like to thank all industry representatives who contributed to this report. The findings and recommendations will be shared with relevant industry and stakeholders over the coming months. Also, a big thank you to Ellis Jones Consulting and our FES Project Lead Lizzie Carmichael.
FES was recently successful in an application to the Department of Education and Training to participate in a Training and Assessment Resource Development Panel. This panel provides digital training and assessment materials for TAFE qualifications and skill sets to support TAFEs with the delivery of online, remote and blended learning.
The Project team are currently scoping new opportunities for 2022 and are excited about what’s in the pipeline!
