Libby Leetch, who has been a staple of the FES projects team for over two years, has been promoted to PMO Manager – congratulations Libby! The PMO has also welcomed two new members of staff this month; Lizzie Carmichael has rejoined the team as a Project Officer after her maternity leave, and Laura Steedman has been appointed as a Project Lead.

The team have also recently kicked off an exciting project in partnership with TasTAFE to develop a plan for building capacity and capability in the Tasmanian renewable energy training sector to deliver training that meets industry needs, based on the Victorian model of the Course in New Energy Technology Systems (NETS).

The PMO is also awaiting the outcome of two other tender applications and are in the process of scoping some other opportunities. We’ll keep you posted on further developments!
