Is your Electrician’s Licence due for renewal between July 2023 and February 2024?
Supported by trades unions, employers, the Government and Energy Safe Victoria (ESV), ESV will shortly introduce Victoria’s first mandatory program of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the electrical trade, and there is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of the pilot program in March 2022.
You will be able to provide valuable feedback before CPD is rolled out as a requirement for all electrical licence renewals due in 2023, whilst enhancing your skills and demonstrating industry leadership, and keeping yourself and the community safer.
What is Continuing Professional Development?
CPD is a hands-on skills maintenance and development program for electrical licence holders which will enhance your knowledge, skills and competence while preserving and supporting the industry’s high levels of professionalism.
CPD sessions will be 8 hours, comprising roughly 60% hands-on training, and can be undertaken at a variety of regional or metropolitan Victoria locations.
