Careers for Net Zero is a movement to expand Australia’s clean economy workforce. This is a new initiative and at this event the campaign will be launched to support everyday Australians to gain the knowledge and skills to deliver an equitable, prosperous net zero Australia. Appropriate skills will be vital for Australia to achieve emissions targets.
The Clean Energy Council and Energy Efficiency Council is co-hosting this free Careers to Net Zero fair alongside the All-Energy Australia Conference in Melbourne on Thursday 26th October at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Careers for Net Zero Fair has something for everyone who wants to find out more about how their knowledge and skills can make a difference in the clean economy. Whether you are already on your career journey, a student, educator, career advisor or policy maker, all are welcome. This is a great opportunity to connect with leading companies and organisations to discover pathways to careers that you didn’t know existed.
The All-Energy Australia Conference is also a free event that takes place over two days Wednesday 25th October – Thursday 26th October. The conference has numerous speakers and covers many topics associated with clean energy and is also at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
