Thinking about your future? Explore what a career as an electrician could offer.
If you're someone who likes solving problems, working in a team, and making a real impact on the world, a career in clean energy and electrotechnology could be perfect for you.
Through an apprenticeship, you earn while you learn – gaining hands-on experience, working towards a trade qualification, and being supported by a great crew and professional mentors. It’s a smart, practical way to kickstart your future in a growing industry that’s helping power a cleaner, greener world.
Did you know that it is estimated that Australia will need an additional 14,000 more electricians by 2030? A more diverse and inclusive workforce will be needed to meet this demand; that is why Future Energy Skills is leading a federally funded partnership project, Powering Women into Clean Energy Apprenticeships.
This initiative is creating more flexible, supportive workplaces to encourage more women into electrotechnology careers and help tackle skill shortages. We believe that women are essential for a thriving electrotechnology and clean energy sector.
