The More or Less Walk Returns for 2026

After the success of our very first More or Less Walk last year, we’re thrilled to be doing it all again, raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania and supporting families when they need it most.

On 31 October, a group from Future Energy Skills (FES) will take on a 30km (more-or-less) walk through Melbourne, in our second annual More or Less Walk. Some participants will tackle the full distance, while others will join along the way, all united behind an important cause.  

This year’s walk is being held in honour of Beth, the daughter of one of our colleagues.

Beth and her family were cared for by the incredible team at Ronald McDonald House during a challenging time, and their story deeply touched our team. The House provided far more than just a place to stay. It gave Beth’s family the opportunity to remain close by, spend precious time together, and focus on what mattered most. Alongside accommodation, Ronald McDonald House offered meals, laundry facilities, and everyday support, helping ease the burden of daily life when caring for a sick child.

As a not for profit organisation dedicated to supporting people and communities, we are proud to honour Beth’s memory by giving back to a charity that makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of families facing some of their toughest moments.

Through our fundraising efforts, we hope to help ensure more families can access the same comfort, care, and support when they need it most. Every donation helps Ronald McDonald House Charities continue providing accommodation and practical assistance that allows families to stay together while their child receives treatment.
