Regulatory change and updates happen regularly, and Energy Safe Victoria (Energy Safe) is currently seeking industry feedback regarding draft changes around the supervision of apprentices.
Energy Safe has released a draft version of the new Requirements for the effective supervision of apprentice electricians. These discuss what constitutes supervision, including clear explanation of the ratios required, as well as each party’s responsibility.
In preparing this draft, Energy Safe considered current Acts and Standards as well as the implications that poor supervision can lead to.
